The Preschool's Thanksgiving Celebration

Aren't these turkey cupcakes great?? I love them.

Dang... Check out that food! The parents went all out! Someone's mom even made a whole turkey. You can't see the chicken katsu I bought (didn't have the time nor the energy to make it). I was dumb and forgot to bring it out until later, so I don't even know if anyone ended up eating it besides one of the other teachers and me.

Those were some humongo cupcakes.

Cousin's Bday Cake

My little cousin had her fourth bday, so we celebrated with this lovely cake from Vons. Vons has some pretty awesome desserts. Yes--there's a clear plastic covering surrounding the cake.

Peanut Butter Cookies & Sugar Cookies From Work

The same co-worker who gave me this Halloween treat gave me the peanut butter cookies on Thursday (11/12) and the sugar cookies on Friday (11/13). They tasted good, and I loved the star and flower shapes!

A Halloween Treat From Work

In addition to being around adorable kids, another reason I love my job is that I get to eat yummy food. One week, our class tried pumpkin muffins, pumpkin butter, and pumpkin pudding, and they were all good. One of the other teachers brought really good pumpkin scones from ... I think Vons, but I went there to get some more for my mom, but they weren't there anymore. Anyway, this ghost is from the aide in the morning class. I had been craving one of these too!

Reedley Buddhist Church's Food Bazaar '09

.:From Sunday, November 1, 2009:.

I guess I didn't take a picture of the main food (the boxed dinners with the chicken teriyaki, chow mein, namasu (picked cucumbers), and rice, but I did get the desserts.

** NOTE: The bierock did NOT come from the bazaar; it came from a donut shop, according to my dad.

Custardy--not creamy. Still good though.
