Mini Green Tea Kit Kat Bars!

 Ohhhhh my gosh!!!  Michelle and I tried these the other day and fell in love.  They taste like real matcha and are creamy but also crunchy and not too sweet or too bitter.  PERFECT.  The only catch is that they are pretty darn expensive.  They are a must-try if you love green tea--especially if you are a green tea/matcha snob (only like green tea things if made of matcha powder or at least real green tea).

Homemade Oyako Donburi

 

Went home to surprise my mom, and guess what she made?  Oyako donburi!  That's one of my favorite things to eat (as you can see here).

Honestly, I'm not a huge Oreo fan, although I love cookies 'n' cream kinds of things.  These homemade Oreos were reeeeally good though.  Definitely better than the real ones in my opinion, but again, I'm not a huge Oreo fan to begin with.  Kristine made these cookies with me, and she and her roommates said they were good too!

My cousins and I had a reunion a few weekends ago. We didn't go to Disneyland, but we walked around Downtown Disney and ate DELICIOUS food! I loved my dinner and my dessert, but let's start with dessert because the pouring part was exciting. :P

Heavenly Double Chocolate Bread Pudding Souffle! Warm, moist, soft, firm, heavy, light, white chocolate & dark chocolate all in one little cup.

Southern Fried Chicken: "Tasso-herb-bread crusted mac & cheese, bacon braised turnip greens, lemon-pepper gravy" - GOOOOOD I'd definitely order it again! Very tender chicken & lots of flavor in the sauce.

Several people recommended their beignets, so I had to order some to-go
