Charlie's Sandwich Shoppe - Boston (as seen in Ted)

Charlie's Sandwich Shoppe
429 Columbus Ave
Boston, MA 02116

Had to try this place after watching Ted with Blake. John and Lori ate at Charlie's in a scene toward the end of the movie. Turns out Charlie's has great food and friendly service and customers in real life!

Blake's Western omelette was goood.

Western omelette
Blueberry griddle cakes (waitress recommended these). Good but not super duper amazing.

They even had a Ted movie poster

Food at Fenway Park - Boston, MA

Fenway Park ("Pahk")
4 Yawkey Way - Yup. That's their address above.
Boston, MA 02215

Soo much fun! Blake and I had a blast at the game and on their tour.

Of course we had to each get a Fenway Frank! Blake thought I had called it a "Friendly Frank," so this guy behind us in line laughed at me...but the entire time I was calling it a Fenway Frank. Geez I know I'm a girl who doesn't know much about baseball, but that doesn't mean I goof up food names. If anything, I know more about the food at baseball stadiums than about the teams themselves. Psh. Haha

Blake's beer:

Gluten-free pizza? No way!

Had to get a soft serve just for the picture and baseball cap.

Pretty field:

Sausage (did not try):

Pizza (also did not try):

Condiment station for hot dogs and sausage:

Sushi!! Interesting. Curious... And a bottled smoothie?

Regina Pizzeria & Quincy Market - Boston, MA

Regina Pizzeria
226 Faneuil Marketplace
Boston, MA 02109
Website

Holy mother of goodness. This pizza was delicious. This is their Mediterranean pizza. Thanks to Loren for recommending this place. There are several locations though, so I'm not sure which one(s) she likes.

Blake got a slice with a thick crust and a sausage one with a thinner crust. Both were good, but we preferred the thin crust. So much flavor without being too salty or weird. haha Odd description. It was one of those food experiences where you take a bite and your mouth explodes in happiness...like you have no doubt in your mind that it tasted amazing. Well, at least I second-guess myself sometimes. This time I didn't.

There are several (many?) indoor food courts that are long like this, but I think this is the only one I've seen with standing tables. Somehow I got this when no one was looking!

Of course you've got your cannolis.

Ike's Seafod & Grill - Revere, MA (Near Boston)

Ike's Seafood & Grill
63 Revere Beach Blvd

Revere, MA
Website

Wow. Their fish & chips were soo hot, fresh, and tasty. This seems like one of those local places that not a WHOLE lot of Boston visitors try because it's not in the city. Blake and I were glad that we stumbled on this place--especially since we went back and forth between the pizza place and other sandwich places along Revere Beach Boulevard.

Oooo

Speaking of Revere, small clams littered the sand in Revere Beach!

Finagle a Bagel - Boston, MA

Finagle a Bagel

Boston, MA 02116

* Scroll down for a cool video! *

Some kind of breakfast bagel sandwich. I usually don't like these, but I loved it at Finagle a Bagel! I wish we had one in Fresno. Sorry, Uncle Harry's and Fresno Bagel Co., but this place is the best! Blake and I agree on that.

Check out how they cut their bagels and send them on their way to become sandwiches & cream cheesed:

Chocolate chip bagel with strawberry cream cheese (soo yummy):
