Sorta Sake Bombing at Sushi Suki

Friday, 9.5.08
360 C. West Portal Ave.
San Francisco, CA 94127
Yelp reviews here (not so great).

* Food post about this place later *

PLEASE NOTE: SAKE is pronounced "SAH-KEH"--not "saki"

The waiter *Dan is the best* brought out the sake bomb materials without us even saying anything (these friends go to this place often), which is kinda unfortunate because they were going to sake bomb at Mina's apartment later. No one drove, by the way. We took the M to and from Mina's apartment.

Sapporo & sake:

This is the sake bomb idea...excluding the hashi (chopsticks). The sake drops to the bottom of the glass of beer (usually after sitting on top of hashi first) and then the person drinks it. Mina said that way's too messy, so they just dropped it in carefully instead.

Sake (nasty!):

See? Gross. Haha. I don't like the flavor, the idea of drinking so much at one time, and the fact that the sake cup has been on the table and on people's hands before it goes into the beer.

Agreed on the table touching.
