I thought I made a post about La Val's earlier from last summer, but I can't find it. Oh well. This is my favorite pizza place so far in Berkeley (tied with or close to Cheeseboard and Zachary's). Last night (9.6.08) at our little AI/Cranium party, we ordered one pizza with mushrooms, olives, and artichokes, and another with chicken, fresh tomatoes, and spinach (this latter one is Rodolfo's favorite kinda pizza). So good!
