Pepperidge Farm's Pumpkin Cheesecake Soft Dessert Cookies

Happy Halloween!! Too bad I will be in stats tomorrow night. My mom sent me these cookies in a care package not too long ago. These cookies are sooooo good!!! And they are actually made of real pumpkin, which is always a plus. The cheesecake chunks are perfect, and the cookies are soft and not overly spiced or overly sweet. Anyways, thanks, mom!

Korean Cookie (Slightly Sweetened Puffed Rice)

It just took me around 3 hours to complete my stats assignment today. Such an improvement from 7-10 hrs and even 17 hrs first year! Oh to life as a grad student. We did order pizza and had it delivered to us on campus tonight though, which was AWESOME.

Anyway, call me weird, but I love puffed things. Puffed wheat, puffed kamut, puffed rice, Puffins, Golden Crisp, popcorn, etc. Found this at a Korean market in Torrance a few weeks ago when shopping with Grace, Catherine, and Josh. I loved how simple and delicious these things are. I can see a lot of people not particularly loving it because it's rather plain, but I love stuff like this! I really don't always need a lot of fat and sugar to keep me happy. :) Plus, this bag was $1-ish.

Red Velvet Cupcake @ Suite 106 Cupcakery

Suite 106 Cupcakery
Victoria Gardens
12434 North Mainstreet,
Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91739
Website

Ooo. This was really good. You know how much I love red velvet cupcakes, so this made me really happy. Mia gave it to me for my birthday. We also had a sampler of cupcakes from this place a year ago at the Inland Empire Food Truck Fest (We went back this year too, actually. I'm way behind in my posting!) and then also in Rancho Cucamonga. It's basically like a little cupcake stand in a food court at Victoria Gardens. I now actually have mixed feelings about this place because the sampler cupcakes were DELICIOUS last year, as was this red velvet cupcake, but I had a vanilla with Tahitian vanilla bean frosting that was wayy sweet and not so great. The more recent full-sized cupcakes we had at this year's food truck fest were good but not amazing. I'll post about those soon.

Kirkland Dark Chocolate Cherry Almond Clusters at Costco

The first few weeks of school and work have been busy! I've missed blogging about my food. I've been fortunate to eat lots of good food lately, but I've just been chfoosing reading articles, working on my thesis, or sleeping over blogging. Sad. Anyway, Grace and I love getting free samples at Costco together. These dark chocolate clusters were SO GOOD. I'm really picky about mixing chocolate with fruit, so this was a pleasant surprise. The chocolate is mildly sweet because it's dark chocolate...and then almonds are always good with chocolate..and then you get a little kick in the mouth from the slight tartness of the dried cherries. mmm Sorry for the not-so-great pictures. It's hard to take good pics of samples in Costco.

Scott's Coors Light Picture

I didn't actually drink this, but Scott did. I love this shot because it looks like the mountains on the can continue past the bottle into reality.
